CAAIF-CSACI Innovative Research Grant in Allergy & Clinical Immunology

The objective of the Innovative Research Grant is to fund innovative research of a "high-risk, high-reward" nature that will have an impact on the prevention or treatment of diseases in the areas of allergy and clinical immunology with the exception of asthma*.
There are two awards available for a maximum of $75,000 each. One award is allocated for a primarily basic science research project and one award is allocated for a primarily clinical research project. Investigators can apply for only one of these grants and should choose the category for which the work proposed most closely fits the description. It is understood that some grants may have elements of both types of research.

Asthma Canada-CAAIF Research Grant in Asthma Innovation and Impact

There are two Research Grants for Asthma Innovation and Impact available. Investigators can apply for only one of these grants and should choose the category for which the work proposed most closely fits the description. It is understood that some grants may have elements of both types of research.
The objective of the Basic Science Research Grant in Asthma is to support innovative basic science research projects that:

improve the understanding of asthma and/or
-
have a significant impact on the concepts, methods, treatments, and/or technologies applicable to asthma and/or comorbidities.
The objective of the Clinical Research Grant in Asthma is to support innovative clinical research projects that:

Improve the health and quality of life of asthma patients and/or
-
Bridge the gap between research and clinical care.
There are two grants available for a maximum of $75,000 each.

CAAIF Research Grant in Atopic Dermatitis

The objective of the CAAIF Research Grant in Atopic Dermatitis is to fund a research focused on atopic dermatitis
The maximum value of the Award is $30,000.

CAAIF-Immunodeficiency Canada Fellowship/Early Investigator Award in Primary Immunodeficiency
Applications due: May 22, 2025 at 11:59 pm in the time zone of the applicant

The objective of the CAAIF-Immunodeficiency Canada Fellowship/Early Career Investigator in Primary Immunodeficiency is to support fellows and early career investigators doing research into advancement of knowledge into understanding the molecular and genetic basis of primary immunodeficiency as well as breakthroughs in novel treatments for these conditions.
The maximum value of the Award is $20,000.

CASP-CAAIF-KalVista Research Grant in Hereditary Angioedema (HAE)
Applications due: April 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm in the time zone of the applicant

The objective of the CASP-CAAIF-KalVista Research Grant in Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) is to fund a research focused on HAE which can include Types 1, 2, and C1 Normal.
The maximum value of the Award is $50,000.
