Graduate Student Awards in Asthma​

Applications due: April 16, 2025 at 11:59 pm in the time zone of the applicant

​

The objective of the Graduate Student Awards in Asthma is to create value-added opportunities for the training, education and professional development of graduate students, to promote greater understanding of the causes, and mechanisms of asthma with a view towards improvement of asthma treatments and potential cures. 

There are a minimum of two (2) awards for PhD students valued at $30,000 each and a minimum of one (1) award for MSc students valued at $15,000 each.

CLA-CAAIF Fellowship in Asthma

Register by March 16, 2025 at 4:00 pm EST; Applications due on April 9, 2025 at 4:00 pm EST

 The Canadian Lung Association (CLA) and CAAIF have partnered to fund one (1) post-doctoral or MD Fellowship for highly ranked projects that align with the CLA’s objective and the projects’ themes investigate new and better treatments that improves the lives of Canadians living with asthma and immunologic diseases.

CLA-CAAIF Allied Health Research Grant

Register by March 16, 2025 at 4:00 pm EST; Applications due on April 9, 2025 at 4:00 pm EST

​

 The Canadian Lung Association and CAAIF have partnered to fund one (1) Allied Health Research Grant that align with the mission of both CAAIF and CLA. 

Studies should include research related to an applied or clinical question using quantitative or qualitative methodologies. The study may include a basic science component but the primary research questions must be applied or clinically focused.

CASP-CAAIF-KalVista Research Grant in Hereditary Angioedema (HAE)

Applications due: April 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm in the time zone of the applicant

​

The objective of the CASP-CAAIF-KalVista Research Grant in Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) is to fund a research focused on HAE which can include Types 1, 2, and C1 Normal. 

The maximum value of the Award is $50,000.
